Kyle Slabb’s Binanggu (2024) brings visual form to his understanding of country and its continuous imprint on sense and sensemaking. His perception of place is rooted in cultural beliefs that have been passed down to him through Elders n his community. His work reflects an openness to and deep awareness of country as a state of being.
